Have a song stuck in your head but you do not know the name of the song or who sang/composed it?
Searching for a MIDI through melody sequence could help you locate the song! For example, the beginning of Jingle Bell...
Code: |
Jingle bell. Jingle bell. Jingle all the way!
E E E E E E E G C D E
|
...the letters below the lyrics are the actual melody sequence. Even if the song is transposed, this search should still be able to recognize the sequence. In other words, E-G-C-D-E is equal to F#-A-B-C-F#.
This could be a useful tool for some. It could be developed depends on the response by the users of HamieNET.com. That includes you! |
