I need a good villain song that is not very plot specific as it will be included in a variety show. I am having a hard time comming up with ideas. The easier to sing the better as this is a childrens show..... any suggestions?
someone mentioned poor unfortunate sould and good n bad from jekyll.... |

Judge Turpin's rendition of "Johanna" from Sweeney Todd always struck me as rather villainous: it's a song about obsession and lust. You may also wish to look into "Epiphany", from the same musical: it, too, is a good villian's song. |

How about Those Were The Good Old Days from Damn Yankees? A cute song - the devil remembering "fun" times from his past. "...I see cannibals munchin' a missionary luncheon" etc.
good luck. |

If you're looking for a female villain, you could try little girls from Annie (although it sucks as a show) or Surabaya-Santa from Songs for a New World. It's not really a villain song but you can really play it that way. |

Falcon in the Dive, from the Scarlet Pimpernel, DEFINITELY! That is a VERY villainous song, and you will really wow people with it. It's very dark and angry-sounding...really creepy and relentless! |
