This is a great song and my first tab, seems that there hasn't been anybody else to post this song here yet. But anyway I tried getting it as correct as possible.. here goes....
Standard Tuning
Artist: Socialburn
Song: Utopia (Album Version)
Album: Where You Are
Main Riff (Clean) (in the intro, when the guitar comes in)
E--------------------------------------------------------------------------
B--------------------------------------------------------------------------
G---------7------------10----------3--------2------------------------------ 2X
D-----7-7---7--7/10-10----10/--3-3---3--2-2---2----------------------------
A--------------------------------------------------------------------------
E--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Then the same thing for the first "post-chorus" and halfway through the verses.
Fill (halfway into the verses here and there)
E----------------------
B----------------------
G-----X-X-7------------
D-----X-X-7------------ Played a couple times
A-----X-X-5------------
E-----X-X-5------------
There's an effects pedal used during parts of the song, but that seems to be for the second guitar in the bridge. I will tab that if or when I figure that out.
For the bridge, I just prefer using the main riff over it in distortion until the chorus, it sounds great.
Chorus (Distortion)
E--------------------------------------------------------------------------
B--------------------------------------------------------------------------
G--77777777--33333333------------------------------------------------------
D--77777777--33333333--77777777--33333333----------------------------------
A--55555555--11111111--77777777--33333333----------------------------------
E----------------------55555555--11111111----------------------------------
The outro part of the song I'm not going to tab, there's not much of a need.
Well that's all for now. It's a brilliant and simple song from an amazing album that seems to be very underrated. Feel free to make any corrections or contact me about it.
