Raindrops Guitar Tablature
By: Dan Kheloussi

This song wasn't too bad to tab out after my friend Drew and I figured out that bastard main chord.
I didn't figure out all the stuff for the second guitar.
Ben and P.J. from Armor for Sleep always play in dropped D.
If you are following the times in this song, there are two versions of the song.
I'm using the version that is 4:57, it's the newest version, off of the Dream to Make Believe CD.

DROPPED D
Guitar 1
intro/verses (starting at 0:00, and at 1:27, and ):
e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|---10----------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---10----------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|----8----------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|----8----------------------------------------------------------------------|
(listen to the song for strumming)

Guitar 2 (this is the little thing he repeats in the background throughout the verses, same times as above)
e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------8------------------------------------------------------------|
G|----10---10------9---------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Prechorus (octaves) (at about 0:53, again at about 2:08):
e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|-----9/10--10--10/9--------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-----7/8----8---8/7--------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
(all of this, for just one night)

Chorus (about 1:03, again at about 2:19)
e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|----10--9---5--------------------------------------------------------------|
D|----10--9---5--------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-----8--7---3--------------------------------------------------------------|
D|-----8--7---3--------------------------------------------------------------|
(suffocate me all you need)

This part is iffy...
Bridge or whatever you wanna call it, this is what happens at 1:47:
e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|-----10-10---10-10---10-10---10-10---10-10---------------------------------|
D|-----10-10---10-10---10-10---10-10---10-10----(2x, then)-------------------|
A|------8--8----8--8----8--8----8--8----8--8---------------------------------|
D|------8--8----8--8----8--8----8--8----8--8---------------------------------|
Play this as 5 sets of double strokes TWICE...I tried to tab it so it's easy to play with the song.

SAME PART (1:52):
e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|-----9-9---9-9---10-10---10-10---10-10------------9/10---------------------|
D|-----9-9---9-9---10-10---10-10---10-10-(2x)-------9/10---------------------|
A|-----7-7---7-7----8--8----8--8----8--8------------7/8----------------------|
D|-----7-7---7-7----8--8----8--8----8--8------------7/8----------------------|
play with the same strumming, repeat this part twice as well, after you repeat it twice, slide from E (A string, 7th fret) to F(A string, 8th fret)

SAME PART continued:
you can keep repeating the last part, or, I think it sounds better if you do this:
e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|-----5-5---9-9---10-10---10-10---10-10-------------------------------------|
D|-----5-5---9-9---10-10---10-10---10-10-------------------------------------|
A|-----3-3---7-7----8--8----8--8----8--8-------------------------------------|
D|-----3-3---7-7----8--8----8--8----8--8-------------------------------------|
slide down after the last F chord.

NOTE: Guitar 2 can play the part that I tabbed for 1:52, or play the 3,7,8,8,8
part. You can also play the octaves, whatever you think sounds the best.

BRIDGE (picking part at 2:42):
e|---10-------10-------10----12-------12-------13----------------------------|
B|------10-------10-------10----10-------10-------10-------------------------|
G|---------10-------10-------------10-------10-------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

e|------10----10----10----10-----10----10----10----10------------------------|
B|---13----13----13----13-----10----10----10----10---------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
hmm, something like that. anyway, repeat that a lot.

There's a monster chord at 3:25 and I think it's:
e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|----7----------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|----7----------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|----5----------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|----5----------------------------------------------------------------------|

After the bridge, at about 3:35,
guitar 1 just plays that intro chord over and over (most of everything else till the end):
e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|---10----------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---10----------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|----8----------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|----8----------------------------------------------------------------------|

...except at about 3:58, where it's just the guitar... I'm not sure what he does, but you'll be fine just playing these two chords. After that part, just go back to the F (10 10 8 8) chord.
e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|---10------5---------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---10------5---------------------------------------------------------------|
A|----8------3---------------------------------------------------------------|
D|----8------3---------------------------------------------------------------|

After the bridge, at about 3:35,
Guitar 2 is picking, doing octaves, and what not. Try this for the picking.
e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------13-11-10---13-11-10-----------------------------------------------|
G|----9-10-------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

...and for the octaves, just keep playing the 3 main chords' octaves.
e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|---10---9---5--------------------------------------------------------------|
D|----x---x---x--------------------------------------------------------------|
A|----8---7---3--------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Guitar 1 can end on the first chord:
e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|------10-------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|------10-------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-------8-------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|-------8-------------------------------------------------------------------|

and Guitar 2 can end on:
e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-----------------------10~-------------------------------------------------|
G|------14~------OR----------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
give it a good bend at the end.

Okay, so that's that. Enjoy, hope I did a good enough job to at least hold
everyone over. If you want to give me some feedback, that's cool.
