Unloco-Failure
Album:Becoming I(2003)
Tuning:Drop D(D,A,D,G,B,E): I know Unloco play in B but this is how
I worked out the song, playing along with it and it sounds fine.If
someone can work out an alternate way to play in B then so be it but
this way is more economical if you dont want to tune down that far.
Intro,Verse 1:
Acoustic,or clean electric.
G---6-------4-|
D-4-4-6-7-2-2-|
A-4-4-4-4-2-2-|
D-4-4-4-4-2-2-|
These are the chords in the correct order, listen to the song to get
the right strumming pattern, its not hard at all.
Chorus:
"So what if i lost everything.."
Electric with heavy distortion: I have two methods to play this:
For one guitar:
D-11-14--13--9-7-| end on this chord and let ring: G-6~
A--x--x---x--x-x-| D-4~
D--9--12--11-7-5-| A-4~
D-4~
For two:
Guitar One plays verse chords with distortion.
Guitar Two plays the root notes of octaves above, with distortion or
without,whichever sounds better.I.e:
note:this is the high D string
D-11-14-13-9-7-| played as many times as necessary.
Verse 2:
G---6-------4-|
D-4-4-6-7-2-2-|
A-4-4-4-4-2-2-|
D-4-4-4-4-2-2-| As well as this, I can hear something else going on.
It might be electronics,or it might be another guitar with an effect on
it. If its the latter, i really cant be fu*cked tabbing it so if anyone
has this tabbed if it is a guitar please post in corrections and ill
quite happily add it to the tab and give credit where credit is due.
Bridge: With heavy distortion.
Verse chords with a different strumming pattern.Listen to song.
Strum like this(Omit first verse chord): D-Strum Down,U-Strum Up.
DUDUD
G-66666- DUDUD DUDUD DUDU DUDUD
D-44444- D-66666-66666-7777-| D-22222
A-44444- A-44444-44444-4444-| A-22222
D-44444- D-44444-44444-4444-| D-22222
(x3)
This may not be exact. Work with it.
Outro:With heavy distortion.
G-6---|
D-4-0-|
A-4-0-|
D-4-0-|
Those are the two chords used, strum like the bridge, listen to song to
get pattern its right at the end of song.
Unloco are awesome, buy the new album Becoming I. This song is wicked,
lots to explain for such a simple song but its really fun to play.
